Annual Spring Celebration

"A Conversation with Judge Ana Reyes '00"

Please join the Harvard Law School Association of the District of Columbia at our first annual spring celebration, for a conversation with Ana Reyes, the newest appointed Judge at the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

Judge Ana Reyes is a longtime Williams & Connolly litigator and the first Latina and openly LGBTQ person sworn-in at the Court. Her prior practice focused on international litigation, representing foreign governments, foreign government officials, and multinational companies. Judge Ana Reyes also worked on patent, legal malpractice, and other complex civil litigation matters, and she devoted substantial time to assisting refugees and organizations that assist refugees in obtaining asylum. Judge Ana Reyes received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School, her M.I.P.P., with honors, from the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University, and her B.A., summa cum laude, from Transylvania University.
