Distorted Justice: Discriminatory Fines and Fees

 

Join the HLSA-DC and the Harvard Alumni for Black Advancement for a special conversation discussing courts’ reliance on fines and fees, the ramifications of the discriminatory enforcement of fines and fees on the Black community, and approaches to eliminate such unjust policies.

-Annie Hudson-Price JD ‘13, Senior Counsel, Office for Access to Justice at the Department of Justice

-Michael Perloff JD ‘17, Staff Attorney at the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU)
