Reflections on Public Sector Careers

Please join HLSA-DC and the Harvard Kennedy School DC Alumni Council for a free, in-person panel discussion exploring Reflections on Public Sector Careers. The event will be moderated by Daniel Chenok, MPP ’90, Executive Director of the IBM Center for the Business of Government.
 


Our panelists bring deep experience from roles on Capitol Hill, in D.C. government, and in federal administrative agencies. They will share career highlights and discuss public sector tools in areas such as:

  • Real estate community development
  • Strategic planning and project management
  • Stakeholder and constituent engagement
  • Negotiation and government reform—both through legislation and agency action


Following the discussion, panelists will take audience questions, providing insights for those considering or navigating public sector career transitions.
